We are seeking a motivated Third-Party Logistics Specialist to manage day-to-day vehicle transport and inventory movement across various platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with onsite personnel and customers to ensure timely deliveries. Key responsibilities include seamless load coordination, proactive communication, and prompt resolution of operational challenges to maintain an efficient transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage high-volume daily communications, answering roughly 100  dispatch phone calls per day and responding promptly to customer and carrier emails or Slack messages.
  • Coordinate and monitor outbound and inbound vehicle shipments across multiple software platforms
  • Proactively resolve carrier issues and complex logistics challenges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reconcile delivery information with inventory reports and perform administrative operational duties such as securing gate passes and vehicle tags.
  • Make outbound tracking calls to ensure delayed or late inventory is moved safely, efficiently, and at a fair cost.
  • Evaluate incoming pick-up and delivery requests, determine optimal carrier assignments, and negotiate competitive rates and terms.

Requirements:

Must commute to the Tempe office (5 days a week).

  • Proven experience in customer support
  • Transportation experience preferred, not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in English.
