Who Are We?

Convelio is a licensed freight forwarding startup evolving at the intersection of Tech, Logistics and the Art World. The startup specialises in the global shipping & storage of high-end goods: paintings, sculptures, basically any valuable or bulky merchandise, alongside market leading SaaS technology to solve the problems that Registrars and Art Operations professionals face today.

Our mission is to become a tech-driven company in a traditional industry, and therefore make the shipping & storage of bulky and valuable items as easy as possible by providing an online and seamless experience.

We currently serve a wide range of customers from art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms to interior designers.


Your Role:
In this role, you'll be our best ambassador at Convelio as you'll be the point of contact to our clients, representing the company and the quality of service we aim to offer. Your job involves providing quotes and executing domestic and international shipments for your accounts. This includes working with our global agents and suppliers as well as internal teams, arranging import and export customs, arranging courier bookings through our international shipping partners, resolving operational incidents, and generally ensuring client expectations are met.
 
What you'll do:
 
Quote and execute shipments
- Master Convelio's advanced quoting tools, some of the best in the industry, and create customized pricing set-up for the client based on their needs.
- Manage and oversee the order process, from packing the artworks to arranging transportation with Convelio trucks, fleet or airline partners, freight forwarders, etc. You'll also handle customs, and collaborate with our network of agents.
- Develop a deep understanding of your Accounts' business to identify new areas where Convelio can further serve.
- Identify solutions to resolve incidents, including restoration or commercial adjustments when needed.
- Independently lead business reviews, discussing service levels and gathering client feedback.
- Document new and advanced processes to share knowledge and continuously contribute to the team's expertise.
 
 
Your profile:
- Shipping expert: you have proven experience in managing international shipments within the art market.
- Type of clients: you have some experience managing Interior Designers or working on large, heavy shipments.
- You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and can interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- You have the ability to build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients.
- You can stay focused under pressure and prioritize key issues efficiently.
- You are flexible and able to work in a dynamic and evolving environment, under continuous development processes.
