Job description

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for managing logistics, inventory, team performance, and overall workflow to ensure products are delivered safely and on time. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have strong experience in food distribution or refrigerated warehouse operations.

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (6 days per week)

Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33407
Industry: Food Distribution (Meat & Poultry)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
  • Manage transportation and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Monitor inventory, product rotation, and cold storage processes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff
  • Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Track KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, and delivery performance
  • Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams
  • Enforce safety policies and company procedures
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and daily workflow

Requirements:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
  • Experience in food distribution, meat/poultry, or cold storage REQUIRED
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with supermarkets or retail distribution
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, USDA, FDA)
  • Experience with WMS or ERP systems
