Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Planning who is passionate about utilizing robotics to improve our daily lives. Leading a key segment of our Supply Chain team, you will oversee the coordination of team activities including but not limited to the optimization of our material and inventory plans. You will partner closely with Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Inventory Management teams to ensure we have the necessary materials to meet surging global demand for our groundbreaking robots.

The ideal candidate is a person with strong analytical skills and the ability to think at both tactical and strategic levels.  This leader must be competent at doing individual contributor work as well as leading other individual contributors.  As with any technology development company, we need team members who possess the ability to be proactive at anticipating and mitigating supply chain risks.

About the Work

  • Tactical Leadership: Lead the creation, review, and execution of comprehensive supply and inventory replenishment plans for finished goods and raw materials across a 12 to 24 month time horizon.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a small team of planners and analysts, ensuring thorough material readiness validation for manufacturing orders and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Accountability: Own and report on critical supply chain KPIs, including supply plan forecast accuracy, working capital optimization, customer fill rates, and inbound freight efficiencies.
  • Inventory & Risk Management: Own and report on inventory health, material gaps, supply chain risks and gaps.  Establish inventory strategies using whatever method is appropriate to insulate the business from logistics instability, tariffs, and supplier volatility.
  • Data & System Governance: Partner with Sourcing to promote supply chain master data integrity particularly for those data elements that are utilized in planning calculations.
  • SIOP / S&OP Architecture: Serve as a driving force in the preparation and presentation of Sales & Operations, S&OE/SIOP reporting. Facilitate cross-functional alignment between executive stakeholders to synchronize supply with commercial demand.
  • Lifecycle Management: Partner with Engineering and Sourcing to direct inventory strategies for new product introductions (NPI) and end-of-life (EOL) product phase-outs, minimizing obsolescence exposure.
  • Process Scaling: Design, formalize, and optimize supply planning workflows and policies to help the company on its journey of maturity into a structured, scalable enterprise.

About You

  • Experience: 8+ years of supply chain planning experience in high-tech, robotics, or industrial manufacturing, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required. MBA or Master's in Supply Chain preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Integrated Business Planning (IBP/SIOP), advanced MRP/ERP systems, and statistical forecasting methods, including their direct financial impacts.
  • Analytical Power: Advanced data visualization and reporting skills; ability to translate complex supply chain data into high-level strategic insights for executive presentations.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive and establish structure in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being defined.
  • Certifications: CPF or ACPF certification is highly preferred, or APICS (CPIM/CSCP).
  • Leadership & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and facilitation skills. You excel at driving cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to achieve overarching organizational goals.

Location

  • This is an onsite position at our Salem office.
