We are seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead and support multiple environmental services facilities across an assigned region. This role is responsible for managing a group of Operations Managers and driving operational excellence across their regio  by ensuring a strong focus on EHS, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, driving a customer-focused work environment and developing high performing teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

Regional Operations Leadership

  • Provide strategic oversight for multiple facilities within a defined geographic region, driving operational consistency, efficiency, and best practices across all locations.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve productivity and service delivery.
  • Support the evaluation, development, and launch of potential new sites within the region.

Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership

  • Drive a culture where safety, environmental stewardship, and compliance are core values across all facilities, ensuring compliance with EPA, OSHA, DOT, and company standards and procedures.
  • Promote proactive risk identification, hazard prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor safety and environmental performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.

Financial Management & Business Performance

  • Manage regional operating budgets and monitor expenditures
  • Maintain responsibility for multi-site P&L performance, overseeing operations exceeding $20 million in annual revenue.
  • Track KPIs related to safety, compliance, operations, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and increase operational effectiveness.
  • Support project pricing, proposal development, and scope evaluation activities.

Customer & Business Growth

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and operational execution and a strong partnership with Sales and Customer Experience teams
  • Identify growth opportunities and support strategies that expand regional business operations.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead a team of Operations Managers, fostering a collaborative, respectful, and performance-driven work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and recommend and support employee training and professional development programs.
  • Lead teams through organizational growth and operational change initiatives.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of environmental services experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading operational teams.
  • Previous labpacking experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong logistics and transportation experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Experience in managing budgets and multi-site P&L responsibilities.
  • Experience scoping, pricing, and quoting environmental or technical service projects.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50-75% throughout the assigned region.
