The Role

As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for providing a best-in-class experience to our eaters and our chefs.

You will help to elevate the standard, streamline processes, and provide efficient guidelines to the Kitchen, Warehouse, Food Safety, Fulfillment and Logistics departments, ensuring they are all set for success. All this with a long-term mindset nurturing positive daily habits with special care on scalability and cost-efficiency.

Success for this role will be measured by customer satisfaction and profitability of operations, constantly identifying key opportunities and spearheading projects focused on effectively scaling our business for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Help build a fulfillment and logistics team providing them with necessary tools, proper training and quality direction
  • Handle the relationship with local and regional couriers and ensure our meals are delivered to our customers at the time and date they expect
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change within the facility, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience
  • Ensure compliance of health and safety policies
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to continuously improve the delivery experience and respond to delivery exceptions and requests
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to complex logistics challenges

Qualifications

  • Being able to speak conversational Spanish and/or another language is a requirement
  • 4+ years of management experience
  • Previous experience in Shipping or Logistics operations is highly valued.
  • Effective project management skills, well-versed in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
  • Computer skills including knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite (Gmail, drive, sheets, etc.)
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
