Supply Chain Director - Gotion Inc.

Location: Manteno, IL
Salary: $180,000 - $230,000

Company Overview:
Gotion, Inc. is building a state-of-the-art EV battery manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. The plant will focus on cell, pack, and energy storage system production, creating approximately 2,600 full-time jobs and playing a strategic role in the U.S. EV battery supply chain.

Position Purpose:
Lead and execute end-to-end supply chain strategy for the Manteno facility, including demand planning, procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, warehousing, supplier relationships, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with plant objectives.
  • Lead multi-functional teams in procurement, logistics, inventory control, warehousing, and supplier quality.
  • Manage domestic and global supplier relationships.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, MRP, safety stock levels, and inventory optimization.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective material flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping) to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain with business goals.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and KPIs (inventory turns, supplier on-time performance, logistics cost per unit).
  • Mentor and develop supply chain team talent.

Qualifications:
