Inventory Control Forklift Operator- Romeoville, IL
Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift: 8AM-4:30PM
Pay Rate: $18.53/hour (Temp-to-Hire)

What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages
  • Operate a Cherry Picker & Reach Truck forklift to access elevated rack locations for inventory checks and product retrieval
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update system data in real time
  • Support replenishment, put-away, and restocking processes
  • Identify and report damaged goods, missing inventory, or safety concerns
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock verification as needed
  • Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work closely with supervisors, leads, and team members to meet daily operational goals

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of Inventory Control experience in a warehouse environment
  • Cherry Picker experience required
  • Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment
  • Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift and move products throughout the shift
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
