MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Clerk located in Aurora, IL. Our client is a Food industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

Role Summary / Overview

Count merchandise in stock and posts totals to inventory records. Compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.

Day to day responsibilities will largely be around investigating inventory discrepancies, counting items, communicating findings and correcting operational errors to ensure inventory is accurate. We are in the process of moving

Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Generate reports such as inventory balance or shortages.

Prepare lists of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.

Required Skills / Qualifications

Good attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.

 Good computer/technology skills ability to pick up new concepts

 Soft Skill requirements (team fit/personality requirements)?

 Hard worker with the ability to work in an occasionally chaotic environment

 High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year

Food companies, distribution background would be preferred

Additional Information

Duration: 03 Months with possibility of extension

Shift hours: Mon- Fri; 08 AM to 05 PM
