Job Description
We are seeking a highly seasoned Product Support / Space Programs Logistician Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 10 years of experience to support the SZP. This role is critical in providing highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected DoD operational requirements.
As a SME, you will influence the entire acquisition life cycle-from cradle-to-grave development to sustainment-ensuring the United States Space Force maintains unrivaled space superiority.
Additional Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Lifecycle Logistics
Provide high-level technical support and programmatic assistance across multiple SSC/SZ-BC and mission partner programs. Lead efforts in Systems Engineering and Architecture Development, facilitating complex decision-making processes for ground, near-space, and space-based systems. Manage integrated logistics planning and execution, including acquisition assistance (contracting, finance, and scheduling) through system disposition.
Product Support & Strategy
Develop and deliver product support requirements documents to ensure long-term sustainment considerations are integrated into initial system acquisitions. Collaborate with Government cross-functional teams to develop accurate assumptions, capture mission-critical data, and perform advanced data analysis. Conduct assessments and provide expert guidance to ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory directives. Oversee support functions to maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
Financial & Transportation Management
Expertly implement and execute the twelve (12) Product Support Elements (PSE). Manage military airlift cargo operations utilizing the government transportation network and billing processes. Utilize intimate knowledge of the Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS) and Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System (DEAMS) to ensure seamless logistics flow. Support modern acquisition strategies, including DevSecOps rapid prototyping and rapid fielding.
Technical Order Management (TOMA)
Develop and maintain Technical Order Management and maintenance activities (TOMA). Align technical order development strategies with evolving Government acquisition models. Lead TOMA-related participation in RFI, RFP, SOW, and PWS development. Manage technical order reviews, working group meetings, and high-stakes validation/verification events.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education & Certification(s): BA/BS Required; MA/MS/MBA preferred.
Minimum Yrs. Experience and/or Expertise: 10+ years and Industry-recognized leader with specific and demonstrable experience working with DoD programs and organization within the USAF and USSF, within SSC mission area (preferred).
Microsoft Office Suite -Systems: Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, MS Project; SBIRS Real Time Project; Team Center; DOORS; DEAMS
Clearance: TS (SCI Eligible)

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing maybe required . This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
