Data Testing - Key Responsibilities
Data Quality Validation:
Execute end-to-end data validation, including profiling, schema checks, reconciliation, and anomaly detection to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across pipelines.
Test Planning & Execution:
Design and run functional, regression, and UAT data test cases; validate transformation logic, source-to-target mappings, and BI/report outputs against business expectations.
Defect Management & Collaboration:
Identify, document, and track data defects; collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Platform teams to resolve issues and ensure reliable production-ready datasets.
