Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving and logging customer samples, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. To perform this role successfully, the Warehouse Associate must be able to carry out each of the essential functions listed below in an effective and timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receive Customer samples and record required information.
  • Pull and stage customer orders for shipments.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Transact inventory movements using inventory control system.
  • Fill material requisition demands.
  • Ensure FIFO is followed for all products with a shelf life.
  • Follow standard operating procedures.
  • Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer/software skills.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.

Competencies

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers and other departments.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lifting ~50 pounds
  • Use of a pallet jack or drum dolly to move heavier loads.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Repetitive motion due to use of computer
