Job description

Locum | Physician – Neuro Hospitalist

Hospital-based opportunity for a Board-Certified Neuro Hospitalist to provide inpatient neurology coverage with telestroke responsibilities. The program is well-supported with a full stroke team at a primary stroke center.

24-hour shifts with inpatient and telestroke coverage. Day coverage 6a–6p (inpatient + telestroke). Night call 6p–6a. 12–15 shifts per month (ASAP). Primary Stroke Center with dedicated stroke team. 45 total ICU beds, Level 1–3 trauma, 12 rehab beds. Full hospital staffing support. Onsite lab and X-ray. EMR: Epic.

Board Certified in Neurology – Required. Active Colorado license – Highly Preferred (Active IMLC with LOQ will be considered). Stroke telemedicine (telestroke) experience – Required. Must indicate day and night availability – Required. Clean malpractice history and background – Required. BLS – Required (must be obtained before start). COVID vaccination – Required (noted at name clear).

24-hour shifts. 12–15 shifts per month. Combination of inpatient neurology and telestroke coverage.
