Lucid Staffing Solutions is working with a medical center looking for a locum Inpatient Neurohospitalist starting OCT 2023!Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 7 on/7off 10/11-10 8-11/14Ongoing Remains as always 7 shifts on 07-1930 M-F, weekend shift as needed for patient care usually an 8 -10 hour day, and then call Sat/Sun overnight for inpatient and unclaimed ED only no stroke overnight as covered by telestroke contract and not NH.Coverage starts on Oct 11 and will rotate every other week.The provider will take call from Saturday morning through Monday morning and are responsible for all stroke alerts 7a - 7p Monday through Friday. Locum will also cover stroke activations during their shift 07-1900.Reason for Coverage: vacancy post-retirement and open new positionPatient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, ED, TSE StrokeAverage Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 8-15Number of ICU Beds: 18Documentation System/EMR: EpicTrauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level II and Stroke ComprehensiveRequired Neurology Procedures: Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps, Lumbar Puncture, Thrombolytic Therapy, EEG, Evoked Potentials, Disability Evaluation, Dysphagia Screening.
