Job Title: Registered Nurse

Certifications: Current BLS certification

Must-Have: Large Joint and Spine Orthopedic Experience

Description: Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 17 Operating Rooms; 1 Bed ER. Not trauma designated. Number of Staff - 70. Type of staff - One scrub and one circulator per room. Support techs available to assist with positioning and other duties. Most surgeons have a PA/CST/NP to assist during surgery. Director/Manager/Board Runner available during shifts. Night Shift N/A. Patient Ratios - Type of equipment: Orthopedic EMR Meditech. Typical hiring profile: Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Must have skills: Large Joint and Spine Orthopedic Experience. Preferred skills: Well versed in total joints and spine. Typical procedures performed include: All Orthopedic-large joints, hand, feet, scopes, and Spine. No neurosurgery performed on this unit. Dress Code: Scrub Color - Ciel Blue (sky blue). Hospital does not provide scrubs. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Report to work at 6:45 am for huddle on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Shift ends at 5:15 pm; there is no second shift relief. Call approximately 4 times per month on weekdays only; no weekend call. Most call worked is staying over to finish cases. Awards/Recognition: Top employee and physician engagement. Consistent patient satisfaction above 90%. Additional Information: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. This is a competitive market; any information provided will help attract talent.
