Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: RN (Registered Nurse)

Specialty: Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-Hour Days

Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, on call as needed

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience

License: Current RN license

Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine required

Must-Have: BSN preferred

Description: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Implements the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice. Skilled in the use of a PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and appropriate clinical databases. Required skills include 1 year of Long-Term Care experience. Current RN license and BLS certification are necessary. No floating required. Duties during the day shift involve a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 18. Duties during the night shift involve a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 25. Dress code requires scrubs. Cancellation policy allows for cancellation up to 24 hours in a 13-week assignment without penalty. Charting system used is EPIC.
