Job description

Speech Language Pathologist - Providence Anchorage

The Speech Language Pathologist at Providence Alaska Medical Center provides evaluation and treatment services for patients with speech and language disorders, collaborating closely with medical staff and families. This role requires a Master's degree or D.O. in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and adherence to professional standards. The position offers part-time, per diem shifts with comprehensive benefits in a supportive, inclusive healthcare environment.

Description

Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patients/families. Assists in direct patient care and collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or D.O. in Speech Language Pathology
  • Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and credentials in sub-specialty.

Wage Range

$44.67 - $69.35 per hour.
