We are seeking a skilled Pathology-Cytopathology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Syracuse, New York. The position involves a mix of general anatomic pathology, cytology, and frozen section analysis in a well-equipped environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform general anatomic pathology and cytopathology evaluations
  • Conduct frozen section analysis and cytology interpretation
  • Gross specimens and perform cryostat sectioning as needed
  • Collaborate with pathology assistants, histotechnologists, and cytotechnologists
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology (AP)
  • Cytopathology experience required
  • Active New York State medical license
  • Cytology Proficiency Exam required for GYN cytology
  • Self-Query NPDB report required
Working Hours
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • No nights or weekends
