About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice MD in Alabama!

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 240-day assignment in Alabama, starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves comprehensive family medicine duties, including managing chronic conditions, addressing acute illnesses, and supporting a diverse patient panel that includes individuals with HIV and those receiving gender affirming care. The schedule for this engaging opportunity is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive family medicine care, including physicals, diabetes management, and hypertension treatment.
  • Address acute illnesses and walk-in patient needs.
  • Manage a patient panel that includes individuals with HIV and those receiving gender affirming care.
  • Work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
