Typical APP to patient ratio 10-15 ICU patients per APP (with attending MD also available).Collaborate with attending MDs to develop plan of care and communicate dynamic changes throughout shift.Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions.Order entry (Cerner EMR) and thorough documentation of History and Physicals, Consultations, Event / Follow-up Notes and Procedure Notes.Interpret diagnostic testingCommunicate with ICU nursing staffParticipate in multi-disciplinary rounds each shiftPerform invasive procedures including, but not limited to, central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths and introducers) and arterial line insertions. Abiding by hospital MSO credentialing.Qualifications:If NP candidate they MUST BE ACUTE CARE CERTIFIEDACNP or PA with valid national and state licensureMinimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an ICU settingProficiency with ICU procedures specifically central and arterial line insertions - **case logs will be requested during credentialing**
