UNIT DESCRIPTION
GESCU's portfolio includes four primary lines of effort for the NSB Operations Director (OD): communications, global engagement, classification and foreign dissemination, and NSB division services, including strategy and compliance. There are two vacancies on the Global Engagement Team, which builds relationships with the FBI's law enforcement and intelligence partners and the Operations Support Team, which provides expertise and support on the classification of national security information, the foreign dissemination program, and requests from the USIC.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a current, permanent FBI employee
- Must be able to obtain an SCI clearance
- Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid driver's license
- Some travel may travel may be required

MAJOR DUTIES
- Research issues related to a wide array of NSB programs and provide the Operations Director overviews and areas of emphasis in preparation for collaborative events with a wide array of domestic and international leadership audiences.
- Track international partner working group current lines of effort by implementing quarterly Sentinel data calls.
- Consolidate and analyze international partner working group outcomes and provide recommendations to the global engagement team and Supervisory Management.
- Support program management efforts and assist in coordinating materials for foreign partner meetings, to include courtesy visits and bilateral meetings for the OD, and the Foreign Integrated Persons program.
- Represent the Branch and FBI as required at meetings, conferences, and interagency group settings.
- Track requests from U.S. government agencies, such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and USIC.
- Support program management efforts and assist the national security information classification or foreign dissemination program to help prepare complex reports on management initiatives.

Specialized Experience (SE)
GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Experience developing and delivering strategic communications plans, manuals, guides, and information packages
- Experience gathering, evaluating and compiling a variety of analytical data and information to provide documented recommendations and conclusions to stakeholders
- Experience analyzing and translating concepts such as policies, reports, guidelines, directives, objectives, and other available resources into accessible, audience-focused messages
Desired Skills
Desired skills are NOT mandatory and will NOT be utilized to minimally qualify applicants.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Positions with fitness for duty requirements or those that require international travel may require proof of certain vaccinations.
- Limited Movement: Policy has been implemented wherein support employees entering a position may be precluded from moving to another position within the Bureau through reassignment or change to a lower grade for a minimum of 12 months.
