Role Overview

Locksmiths are responsible for the installation, service, and troubleshooting of locks for a variety of residential, commercial, and enterprise level customers.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure mechanical and electronic locks, access control, and hardware.
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on locking systems.
  • Cut/duplicate keys, rekey cylinders, and manage master-key systems.
  • Communicate with customers, document work, and ensure code compliance.

Qualifications

  • At least two years as a locksmith.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and customer and peer interaction.
  • Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Technologically driven with a desire to learn new technology continually.
  • Strong work ethic and career focused
  • Locksmith, electronic doors, and low voltage
  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, and project documentation.

Work Requirements

  • Be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds, exposure to confined spaces (such as attics, basements, crawl spaces),
