Job description

elockers is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Worker to support the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of our locker systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving mechanical issues, and working in a dynamic environment. This role will involve learning our locker systems, supporting deployments, and helping maintain equipment performance across installations and events.
Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and become proficient in eLockers locker systems, setup procedures, and operational processes
  • Assemble, install, break down, and transport locker units as needed
  • Troubleshoot locker errors and identify mechanical or operational issues
  • Perform minor repairs, maintenance, and equipment adjustments
  • Safely use hand tools and power tools, including drills and basic mechanical equipment
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of locker units during setup and breakdown
  • Support event and venue deployments when required
  • Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and workspaces
  • Communicate maintenance findings and escalate recurring issues when necessary

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver locker components and equipment safely
  • Comfortable working with locker units up to approximately 6.5 feet tall
  • Ability to load equipment onto hand trucks and assist with moving units into vehicles when required
  • Heavy lifting capability is a strong plus

Schedule & Travel
  • Work is primarily performed during standard business hours
  • Occasional weekend availability may be required for on-site event support
  • Local travel to venues and events throughout the Brooklyn area may be required; no out-of-state travel expected

Training
Training will be provided. Prior experience with locker systems is not required. Candidates should be eager to learn and comfortable developing technical and mechanical skills.
