Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Treasury Management Specialist is responsible for providing support and assistance to clients and personnel for all Electronic Banking Products and Treasury Management Services (e.g., Retail and Commercial online banking, ACH, Wires, Check Positive Pay, Sweeps, Lockbox, Remote Deposit and Mobile Deposit) as well as assisting with Treasury Management implementations. This position is also responsible for performing routine daily tasks and participating in special departmental projects.

The incumbent will:

  • Provide support for incoming and external calls related to all electronic banking products and services including but not limited to bank deposit, ACH deposit, wires, Internet banking and E-statements; accepts communications through all electronic media (i.e. email and online banking systems)
  • Schedule and provide installation and training with clients for all Treasury Management products via telephone
  • Ensure all new and existing accounts are properly charged or have the appropriate exception approvals if applicable
  • Implement all Treasury Management products and services including ACH Origination, ACH and Check Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Now and Mobile Deposit, Online Wires, eStatements, Lockbox, Retail Online Banking and Sweeps
  • Communicate with other banking departments on pending items and issues with Treasury Management clients
  • Assist with training employees on all Treasury Management products and services
  • Assist Treasury Management sales staff with complex implementation requests and client reviews
  • Prepare and distribute online banking and remote deposit user letters
  • Assist with ACH, wire and mobile deposit temporary limit increases
  • Assist personnel and clients as required with any questions or issues related to Treasury Management products and services
  • Process Lockbox foreign and cash transactions
  • Identify and escalate product outages through proper channels
  • Assist with maintaining implementation procedures and Treasury Management product guides
  • Responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies that are applicable to this position and follow and ensure compliance with these regulations and policies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five (5) years related experience
  • Knowledge of and experience working with electronic banking products and general bank operations
  • Knowledge of basic accounting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience interacting with clients and responding to service requests
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to accurately type using a keyboard
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of related federal and state banking regulations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

The physical requirements and environmental conditions of this position consist primarily of:

  • Sustained standing and sitting
  • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor
  • Occasional presentations requiring public speaking to small groups
  • Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs
  • Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low level noise
