About Centific
Centific is a frontier AI data foundry that curates diverse, high-quality data using purpose-built technology platforms to empower the Magnificent Seven and enterprise clients with safe, scalable AI deployment. Our team includes more than 150 PhDs and data scientists, alongside more than 4,000 AI practitioners and engineers, supported by an integrated solution ecosystem of industry-leading partnerships and 1.8 million vertical domain experts across 230+ markets. We create contextual, multilingual, pre-trained datasets, fine-tuned industry-specific LLMs, and RAG pipelines supported by vector databases - helping unicorn innovators and enterprise customers deploy GenAI at scale in every language their business operates in.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Director, Strategic Enterprise Sales to join Centific's Multilingual Language Practice, led by Jonas Ryberg, reporting to Shannon Zimmerman. This role is focused on driving new business development and account expansion for Centific's multilingual AI solutions across strategic global enterprise accounts. This is a player-coach role: you'll own and grow a book of strategic enterprise business while providing senior leadership and mentorship across the practice's sales motion - typically entering accounts through localization and multilingual data teams, then expanding relationships into product, engineering, and digital stakeholders as adoption grows. You'll be a senior, hands-on hunter who can build pipeline from zero and personally close complex, high-ACV deals with globally recognized brands who need AI that works across languages, markets, and regulatory environments.
What You'll Do
Strategic Enterprise New Business & Expansion
  • Personally source, run, and close complex enterprise deals ($150K-$500K+ ACV) for multilingual AI and data solutions with Fortune 500 and high-growth technology companies
  • Build pipeline from zero in new verticals and expand existing accounts from an initial localization/multilingual entry point into multi-department, platform-wide adoption
  • Drive new logo acquisition while growing existing account ARR through cross-sell and upsell into adjacent teams (product, engineering, digital, marketing)

Senior Player-Coach Leadership
  • Carry a personal quota while remaining hands-on in enterprise deal cycles, setting the standard for consultative, relationship-led selling into technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
  • Provide senior guidance and mentorship to other sales team members within the Multilingual Language Practice, sharing account strategy and deal execution best practices
  • Act as a senior voice in shaping the practice's overall enterprise sales approach and pipeline strategy

Account & Relationship Ownership
  • Own strategic enterprise relationships end-to-end, from initial localization/multilingual data contact through to executive sponsors
  • Navigate long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles across global, multi-market accounts
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with executive buyers, positioning Centific as a strategic partner rather than a point solution

Go-to-Market & Vertical Strategy
  • Lead entry into new verticals (e.g., tech, life sciences, retail, financial services) with tailored positioning for multilingual AI, localization data, and global content solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, delivery, and marketing to refine messaging, shorten sales cycles, and position Centific's multilingual AI data foundry capabilities against market needs
  • Represent Centific in market - through customer relationships, industry speaking engagements, and thought leadership in multilingual/global AI - to build brand credibility in regulated and highly localized industries

Revenue Ownership & Reporting
  • Own and report on ARR growth, quota attainment, and pipeline health for your book of business
  • Partner closely with Shannon Zimmerman and the broader Multilingual Language Practice on account strategy, forecasting, and go-to-market execution
  • Collaborate with Jonas Ryberg's practice leadership to align enterprise deal strategy with the practice's broader multilingual AI roadmap
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS or platform sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of personally closing high-ACV deals ($150K+ ACV) with globally recognized brands
  • Direct experience selling multilingual AI, localization, translation, or global content/data platform solutions, with a pattern of entering accounts through localization or multilingual data teams and expanding into broader platform adoption
  • Prior experience operating at a senior/leadership level (e.g., VP, Senior Director) - carrying a personal quota while providing senior guidance to a broader sales team or practice
  • A track record of scaling ARR meaningfully (e.g., 30%+ YoY growth) through a combination of new logo acquisition and account expansion
  • Experience navigating multi-vertical, multi-market go-to-market strategy (tech, life sciences, retail, financial services, or similar), ideally across regulated or highly localized industries
  • Comfort operating as a senior, hands-on hunter - building pipeline and closing deals independently in a fast-moving, early-stage-style environment
  • Strong executive presence and consultative selling skill, with the ability to speak credibly to both technical and business stakeholders
  • International experience and additional language fluency strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed for account management
Preferred
  • Experience specifically in multilingual eDiscovery, global labeling/regulatory content, or life sciences/legal translation markets
  • Public speaking or thought leadership experience in multilingual AI, machine translation, or regulated-industry technology spaces
  • Fluency in Spanish or another widely spoken language, and hands-on international work experience across multiple regions

Salary range: $200K-$225K
