Job description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Localization Program Manager to lead end-to-end localization efforts for our products. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and international teams to deliver world-class localized experiences to our global users. You will manage cross-functional workflows, and ensure quality, timeliness, and cultural relevance in every market we serve.

You will:

  • Own the i18n and l10n process of features for your group(s) from 0 to 1 by partnering with stakeholders across the organization (Product, Engineering, Design, International and our Community).
  • Be the voice of international users across the company
  • Partner with product management, engineering, and design teams to integrate localization requirements early in the development cycle.
  • Develop and execute localization strategies aligned with product roadmaps and overall business goals. This involves defining localization requirements, scope, and timelines for each product or feature.
  • Guide stakeholders across Roblox to ensure localization best practices are followed and drive efficient execution
  • Identify and refine technical and process issues that affect localized product relevancy, quality, and functionality
  • Partner with International/localization team to ensure the right resources are in place and all deliveries are completed at the expected standards
  • Experience working with localization and product teams to understand potential issues and finding solutions for high-quality multilingual content production

You have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Localization, International Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in localization or program management, ideally in the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of localization tools, CAT systems, and translation management platforms
  • Proven experience localizing products for multiple languages and markets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cultures and time zones
  • Knowledge of internationalization standards
  • Highly organized and strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and make decisions with bias towards action, preferably in a high growth environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
