Job description

JOB SUMMARY:ย 

Theย Localization Post Producerย is responsible forย overseeing the timeline and workflow of their project team to ensure the successful delivery of localization projects. Demonstrated ability toย identifyย and resolve project challenges as well asย anticipateย and mitigate risks related to budget, scope, and timeline. Possesses comprehensiveย expertiseย in localization andย post productionย to act as a key member and voice of a project.ย 

ย RESPONSIBILITIES:ย ย 

  • Serve as the Post Producer lead on localization projects, involving many aspects ofย post production.ย 
  • Work with Senior Post Producer & Executive Producer to provide project updates, share potential concerns, project team needs, etc.ย 
  • Lead project team from kick off to delivery,ย delegate team responsibilities, and manage project feedback.ย 
  • Track project progress, burn and provide updates to Senior Producer/EP.ย 
  • Manage voiceover talent casting, booking, and session coordination.ย Oversee recording sessions to ensure quality standards, proper direction of talent, and adherence to projectย specifications. ย 
  • Alert Senior Producer/EP and Account team for any changes to project scope and timeline.ย 
  • Provide guidance and delegate tasks to Coordinators for active projects.ย 
  • Whenย additionalย team support isย required, provide insights to length, project budget impacts and talent needs to Senior Producer/EP.ย 
  • Maintain and enforce production and localization process guidelines,ย templatesย and workflows.ย 
  • Act as lead Producer and trusted advisor to each project with regards to Account and Client communicationsย 
  • Collaborate with the internal IT department on production stability,ย softwareย and hardware needs.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS:ย ย 

  • 2+ years in aย post productionย environmentย 
  • 2+ years in a Post Producer roleย 
  • Deep understanding of theย post productionย processย 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloudย 
  • Competent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex project trackingย 
  • Excellent time management skills and verbal and written communication skillsย 
  • Ability to think critically and progressively to find creative solutions for any problemย 
  • Demonstrates professionalism andย maintainsย composure under pressureย 
  • Organized and works well under tight and changing deadlinesย 
  • Has led a project team of over 5 peopleย 
  • Efficient problem solver in a studio environmentย 

This position is in the office 3 days a week.
