Job description
They will track assigned series and movies production and delivery progress while overseeing the processing of all required assets from third-party production facilities through Amazon's contracted vendors for end-to-end ownership of localization and preparation for distribution to 3P partners and/or Prime Video (PV) - to ensure global release timetables are met. They must update and maintain various schedules, keep internal and external stakeholders up-to-date throughout production, manage localization progress, pursue source materials, organize assets for final distribution, troubleshoot any upstream or downstream rejections, and assess and act on Customer feedback. Additionally, the Jr. Localization Executive will also serve as the subject matter expert for their film and series' main title translations, ensuring all translated and adapted main titles adhere to established language style guides and preserve the creative intent of the original content.
The role will liaise between current productions and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation/adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning of Amazon MGM Studios Originals content for global release. As a Jr. Executive, they can leverage opportunities to enhance their knowledge on department wide initiatives and tiger teams that contribute to tooling and AI requirements, workflow optimizations, and maintenance of style/language guidelines to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural resonance, and brand consistency across all target languages.

In addition to core responsibilities, this position will support special projects including language expansion and accessibility backfill efforts - working to extend localization coverage into new languages and territories while ensuring previously released content meets current accessibility and localization standards. The role will also manage an assortment of administrative responsibilities including maintaining internal tracking databases, updating documentation and reference materials, coordinating cross-functional meeting logistics, data collection and analysis, and supporting reporting needs for leadership.
