D365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect

Required Experience:
- 13-15 years of overall IT/ERP experience with at least 10+ years on Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O / F&SCM and a minimum of 5+ years focused on healthcare or life sciences clients.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect role on large, multi entity or multi country D365 F&O programs.
- Strong experience with end to end implementations involving finance, procurement, inventory/warehousing, and project accounting for hospitals, clinic chains, diagnostics networks, or healthcare service organizations.
- Proven track record with USA and/or India rollouts, including localization for US and Indian finance, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and governing integrations with EMR/EHR, HIS, LIS, pharmacy, or insurance/payer platforms and healthcare ISVs.
- Consulting or partner background with substantial client facing responsibilities, including steering committees and executive stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the overall D365 F&O/F&SCM solution architecture for healthcare clients (hospitals, clinic networks, diagnostics, pharmacies, payers, and med device/life sciences), covering finance, supply chain, procurement, projects, and shared services.
- Translate healthcare business requirements (patient care operations, clinical supply, pharmacy, insurance/payer, capex/OPEX control) into scalable F&O designs including integrations, data, and security. Lead discovery and fit gap workshops with clinical, operations, finance, and IT stakeholders in USA and India, aligning solution design with local regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements.
- Define environment, deployment, and ALM strategy for multi region programmes, including localisation for US GAAP/IRS, Indian GST, TDS/TCS, and statutory reporting.
- Design and govern integrations between D365 F&O and EHR/EMR, HIS, LIS, pharmacy, insurance/payer systems, and healthcare ISVs using DMF, dual write, APIs, and Azure services.
- Drive data architecture and migration strategy including CoA harmonisation, item/master data, vendor/contract data, and patient billing related financial data with appropriate controls and anonymisation where required. Define security, role-based access, and SoD aligned to healthcare processes and compliance needs (e.g., alignment with HIPAA principles where applicable on financial/operational data touchpoints, internal controls, audit).
- Provide design governance for customisations and extensions, ensuring use of standard capabilities, ISVs, and Microsoft best practices to minimise technical debt and simplify validation.
- Act as solution authority across the delivery lifecycle, managing design risks, change requests, and cross workstream dependencies (finance, supply chain, pharmacy, projects, integration, data, testing).
- Support presales for healthcare accounts: solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, estimation, solution walkthroughs, and industry specific demos (e.g., centralised procurement, inventory optimisation for OT/ICU, pharmacy processes).
- Act as trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and clinical operations leadership, shaping roadmaps for finance transformation, shared services, procurement consolidation, and cost optimisation.

Mentor functional and technical teams in both USA and India, fostering reusable healthcare templates (process maps, configuration blueprints, data templates, test packs).
