Role Summary
The Sr Manager, Product Sourcing leads sourcing strategy and execution for strategic technology commodities supporting hyperscale data center and AI infrastructure programs. This role manages a team of Product Sourcing Managers responsible for Networking, Optics, Servers, GPU, CPU, Memory, SSD, and HDD, with accountability for cost, supply continuity, supplier capacity, and execution in a highly constrained, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, cost, and supplier strategy for strategic technology commodities including networking, optics, servers, GPU, CPU, memory, SSD, and HDD supporting hyperscale and AI platforms.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of 6-8 Product Sourcing Managers, setting priorities, coaching performance, and ensuring strong execution discipline.
  • Own supplier strategy, allocation management, and capacity planning to support rapid demand growth, NPI ramps, and supply constraints driven by AI and hyperscale workloads.
  • Drive supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance, including pricing, lead times, allocation commitments, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage geo-economic and supply risks including tariffs, trade compliance considerations, and supply localization strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, sales, finance, and program teams to align sourcing strategy with product roadmaps, customer demand, and delivery commitments.
  • Establish sourcing governance, KPIs, and operating cadence to improve execution, supplier accountability, and scalability across programs.
  • Provide clear executive-level communication on cost, supply risk, allocation status, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or commodity management, with strong exposure to networking, silicon, or server-class technologies.
  • Proven people leadership experience managing sourcing or commodity teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of supply-demand dynamics for strategic technologies, including allocation-driven commodities.
  • Experience managing large-scale spend and operating in constrained supply environments.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Experience
  • Hyperscale data center, AI infrastructure, or OEM/ODM ecosystem experience.
  • Experience managing allocation-driven commodities such as GPU, CPU, memory, or optics.
  • Exposure to tariff mitigation, supply localization, and multi-region manufacturing strategies.
  • Experience supporting aggressive NPI ramps and customer-driven demand volatility.

Annual Salary Range
$170,000-$190,000 USD DOE
