The Senior Manager Compensation, Benefits & Mobility is responsible for the development, implementation, and governance of compensation, benefits, and mobility programs within the assigned regions (USA & MEA).
The role will lead and develop a team of 3 compensation, benefits and mobility professionals and serves as the primary regional subject matter expert and strategic partner to business leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and employees, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with both regional business objectives and the company's global Total Rewards strategy.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Regional Compensation Management
  • Lead the execution of regional compensation strategies in alignment with global compensation frameworks.
  • Manage annual compensation cycles, including salary planning, merit increases, promotions, bonus programs, and market adjustments.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on compensation decisions related to hiring, internal movement, retention, and workforce planning.
  • Conduct job evaluations and support job architecture governance within the regions.
  • Monitor market trends and benchmarking data to recommend competitive compensation practices.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with local labor, pay transparency, and wage equity regulations.

Benefits Strategy & Administration
  • Manage regional employee benefit team and ensure the programs are aligned with overall Total Rewards objectives.
  • Evaluate plan competitiveness, utilization, employee feedback, and cost effectiveness.
  • Support benefit renewals, vendor negotiations, cost management initiatives, and employee communications.
  • Recommend program enhancements based on market trends and workforce needs.

Mobility Program Management
  • Oversee regional mobility team activities including permanent transfers, international assignments, business travelers, localization, and cross-border employment arrangements.
  • Ensure guidance to business leaders and HR on appropriate workforce deployment solutions is provided.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with immigration, tax, payroll, social security, and employment requirements.
  • Support assignment cost projections, budgeting, and approval processes.
  • Manage complex and sensitive mobility cases, including senior leadership relocations and critical talent deployments.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compensation, benefits, and mobility programs comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, Tax, and external advisors to mitigate compliance and financial risks.
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain appropriate governance documentation.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting Total Rewards programs.
  • Escalate risks and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Analytics, Reporting & Program Effectiveness
  • Analyze compensation, benefits, and mobility data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and support regional workforce planning initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and business cases to support data-driven decision making.
  • Measure program effectiveness and recommend process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Drive adoption of technology and process standardization across the region.

Managerial Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a regional team of 3 Compensation, Benefits, and/or Mobility professionals.
  • Establish team objectives, priorities, and development plans.
  • Provide coaching and direction on complex employee and business cases.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction across the region.

Show your expertise
  • 10-15 years of progressive compensation experience in a corporate, consulting, or shared services environment, with demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • CCP, GRP professional certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, job architecture, benchmarking, and incentive programs.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits design, administration, and vendor management.
  • Understanding of international mobility practices, immigration, tax, social security, and employment regulations.
  • Advanced analytical and financial acumen.
  • Strong project and change management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and business judgment.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, multinational organization.
