Job description

GoEngineer is a provider of the most compelling design platforms in the industry, deploying engineering software and 3D Printing technology to make the design process innovative, efficient, and intelligent.
GoEngineer helps engineers and manufacturers design better products, faster. Our marketing team builds the content, creative, and digital experiences that bring this mission to life.
We're looking for a bilingual Marketing Specialist (French Canadian/English) to lead our marketing efforts for the Quebec market, serving as the essential bridge between our marketing and technical teams and our French-speaking customers.
Who You Are
You are a highly organized, detail-oriented marketer who is native or fluent in both French Canadian and English. You understand that the Quebec market requires a tailored approach, not just a direct translation, and you have the cultural insight to adapt messaging, tone, and tactics to resonate locally. You are comfortable working independently as our sole bilingual marketing expert while collaborating closely with a 20+ member marketing department across Canada and the USA.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
  • Content Localization and Translation: Lead the translation and localization of website pages, emails, social content, signage, and sales collateral from English to French Canadian, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and cultural relevance for the Quebec market
  • Campaign Execution: Help tailor and execute marketing campaigns for software, hardware, and services to effectively reach and engage the Quebec audience
  • Social & Digital Marketing: Manage French-language social media and email marketing, including adapting existing campaigns and identifying opportunities for region-specific content
  • Events and Trade Show Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for Quebec-based events and trade shows, supporting planning, logistics, and marketing materials
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between marketing, sales, and technical teams to support alignment and contribute to lead generation and regional growth
  • Multimedia and Asset Support: Assist with video translation and make light updates to graphic and digital marketing assets using available tools

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
  • Bilingualism: Complete fluency in French Canadian and English (written and verbal) is required.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • B2B Experience: Preferred experience in B2B marketing, ideally within technical or engineering sectors.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate a large, multi-national team environment.
  • Quebec expertise: solid understanding of Quebec marketing laws and the local B2B landscape
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with HubSpot, Goldcast, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads
  • Experience with video translation tools or AI workflows
  • NetSuite CRM familiarity
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, SaaS, or technical products
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD or product design software (SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Fusion 360, Onshape, etc.)

This role is a great fit for you it:
  • You are a self-starter who can manage the unique needs of a specific region while staying aligned with global brand goals.
  • You enjoy variety - one day you might be hosting a French webinar, the next you coordinating logistics for a tradeshow, and after that localizing technical web pages.
  • You are a great communicator and highly organized, able to manage your time effectively while ensuring accuracy in every translation.
  • You work quickly, learn from results, and iterate confidently

This role may not be a great fit for you if:
  • You are looking for a role focused only on direct translation rather than adapting and localizing content for a specific market
  • You prefer highly structured, task-by-task direction rather than working independently and owning a regional marketing function
  • You are not comfortable managing multiple projects at once across content, campaigns, and events
  • You prefer a narrow, specialized role rather than a position that requires variety across marketing channels
  • You are less comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

More about what GoEngineer offers:
At GoEngineer, we understand that our value comes from our employees, and we celebrate and respect their unique experiences. We are working to build a culture where both our employees and customers are centered in the work we do, and employees feel welcomed as they are from the first day.
Generous Benefits Include:
  • Participation in GoEngineer's 6-week PTO program from day one of employment.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 6% company match, 100% vested on day one.
  • Comprehensive medical coverage, including PPO and High-Deductible plans with FSA/HSA options and employer HSA contributions.
  • Paid Family Leave, including paid pregnancy disability leave and paid parental bonding leave.
  • Employer paid Life Insurance policy, & Short Term, and Long-Term Disability insurance, with optional supplemental coverage.
  • Dental and Vision insurance
  • Mental health, telemedicine with 24/7 access to medical providers, and wellness programs, including virtual therapy, nutrition counseling, and physical therapy.
  • Fertility, adoption, and family building benefits.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering free, confidential counseling and support for mental health, legal, financial, and family needs.
  • Optional voluntary benefits, including accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness coverage, identity theft protection, pet insurance, plus student loan repayment and prescription cost savings programs.
