The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities to drive profitable growth and establish long-term client partnerships for our translation business line.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process efficiencies, and the ability to build and maintain meaningful client relationships. This individual should possess solid operational knowledge, quickly absorb and apply new information, and effectively solve problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive translation revenue growth.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to communicate an executive-level vision of how Propio’s solutions deliver value, demonstrate strong commercial acumen, understand client business needs, and align services to address those needs.
  • Prepare and develop customer tender documents and RFP responses, ensuring clear scope definition, realistic expectations, and successful bid outcomes.
  • Engage prospects and clients quickly to assess requirements and uncover potential opportunities.
  • Conduct meetings and deliver tailored solution presentations, including detailed project plans and cost estimates.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity to support business growth and strategy.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, services, and the broader industry landscape.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets and performance goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to close opportunities and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned.


Requirements:


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the translation and localization industry preferred.
  • Experience selling into the healthcare vertical is preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience in the full sales life cycle (lead generation to business closing) of large, corporate, long-term deals.
