Responsibilities

Performs strategic key account sales and marketing activities within the local and global business segments assigned.

Grow and capture business opportunities within the Refractory Metals Division of Plansee while actively investigating and developing strategic accounts in North America. Functions as the point of contact and internal voice of the customer for key accounts while organizing internal support to meet customer requirements.

Supports Plansee KPI's while being customer focused and providing superior service to partners by interfacing with sales, engineering, logistics and manufacturing teams to drive applications and projects for customers from start to finish

Assesses market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors and implement strategies to effectively differentiate and gain favorable positioning.

Assists in annual business planning process by working with the business division manager for North America in developing product & account plans to support sales and marketing goals. Utilize Plansee CRM for all sales activities and forecasting of future revenue.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, participation in industry trades shows and conferences, PLANSEE USA sales meetings and periodic planned visits to Plansee, Austria and other Plansee facilities throughout the world as required.

Other duties as required to support the business growth plan.

Qualification and Skills:

BS degree in Engineering/Metallurgy/Business or a related field and/or equivalent combination of directly related experience and education. Minimum five years of industrial sales and marketing experience in a business-to- business environment.

Knowledge of SAP sales module. Demonstration of strong written and verbal communication skills as well as effective interaction at all levels and across diverse cultures.

High degree of organization and time management skills.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and prospects. Ability to analyze sales data and develop recommendations and solutions.

The base compensation for this position is between 110-130k annually, commensurate with skill and experience level. This role will also be bonus eligible.
