Job description


Installs, maintains and repairs the roofs of commercial and residential buildings. Installs new roofing systems and repairs existing systems, 

  • Inspect roofing surfaces and make suggestions regarding appropriate repairs

  • Remove algae, moss, sticks and other debris from commercial and residential roofs

  • Install insulation, shingles, shakes, slate tiles and other materials according to the manufacturer instructions

  • Install new roofing systems or make repairs based on owners’ budgets and aesthetic preferences

  • Follow local building codes related to pitch and other roof characteristics

  • Set up vents to ensure that moisture doesn’t damage a roofing surface
