As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of crucial tasks including but not limited to:

• Conducting in-depth assessments of clients’ mental health needs through clinical interviews and standardized assessments, ensuring a thorough understanding of their psychological, emotional, and social conditions.
• Collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans that address specific goals and therapeutic interventions in partnership with clients.
• Providing evidence-based counseling and therapeutic support to individuals and families, specializing in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.
• Facilitating support groups and workshops to foster community engagement and promote mental health awareness.
• Advocating for clients’ needs and connecting them with essential community resources, including local mental health services, support groups, and social services.
• Documenting all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Staying current on developments in mental health practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

The primary focus of this position is to provide mental health services to diverse populations across Hutchinson, Kansas, and beyond. You will work with clients of varying ages, particularly focusing on adults facing mental health challenges, while maintaining sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity. Your role is critical in helping these clients navigate their mental health issues and supporting them in achieving a higher quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kansas.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health or community service setting, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation and practical knowledge of therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in a community health setting or with actively serving vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and interventions specific to mental health therapy.
• Knowledge of local community resources and services available for mental health support.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
