Job Description:
SAI Apteka Pharmacy in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and bilingual (Spanish/English) full time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting the pharmacist with medication preparation and dispensing, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. If you are passionate about healthcare and committed to delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving concerns professionally.
  • Maintain inventory control by managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the availability of medications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation in accordance with best practices.
  • Efficiently handle insurance claims processing and resolve reimbursement issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Solid understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
