Associated Endoscopy is home to six Nashville gastroenterologists who are among the best gastroenterologists in the area. When it comes to colonoscopies, our GI doctors have an overall average Adenoma Detection Rate – the rate in which precancerous colon polyps are found – of 30.88 percent. This exceeds the national average by over 10 percent, surpassing many GI specialists in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area. Our gastroenterologists also have an average cecal intubation rate – the time a doctor takes to fully inspect the colon – of 98.5 percent, compared to the national average of 90 percent.
Position Summary: Under the direction of the designated Nurse Manager, the Staff Nurse is responsible for professional, direct patient care in the nurse role. The Staff Nurse will utilize the nursing process within their scope of practice to assess, develop nursing diagnosis, develop plan of care, implement plan of care, monitor for effectiveness, and adjust appropriately, for patient's plan of care. The Staff Nurse is responsible for care, in areas assigned, within the Surgery Center, as needed.
