Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a respected local nonprofit organization. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing accounts payable, account reconciliations, and assist with payroll, while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative environment. If you have a strong accounting background and are looking to make an immediate impact while supporting a mission-driven organization, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable
  • Complete account reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills

Pay

  • Up to $27.00 per hour, based on experience
