About Advance Residential Concrete:

Advance Residential Concrete (ARC) has deep roots in the North Carolina concrete industry that run almost 20 years through an established commercial concrete contractor. ARC was launched in 2017 after years of regular requests from homebuilders and local vendors.

Today, ARC is a turnkey concrete contractor primarily for local, regional, and national home builders with projects located in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Our focus is on quality, professionalism, and safety. Our goal is to act as a leader and elevate the reputation of the entire industry.

We are proud to offer a wide range of services to meet the various needs of our local clients. For many of our customers, that means handling all their concrete and masonry work from foundations and slabs to walls and driveways to block and brick work. ARC also helps customers with other concrete and masonry projects, including amenity centers and sidewalks.

Our projects are completed on time and according to the highest standards. We want to build strong customer relationships and work quickly and efficiently to deliver results.

About the Role:

Advance Residential Concrete is looking for a masonry superintendent that is a driven, detail-oriented team player. This vital role is responsible for managing all of our projects in the assigned region, including communicating priorities to subcontractors, adhering to safety standards; coordinating with subcontractors, builders, and deliveries, and maintaining daily field documents of all activities and site conditions. The superintendent will closely with the VP of Operations and with our accounting team, as well as delivery personnel.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all masonry work to include foundations, veneers, and other masonry work.
  • Understand basic masonry principles.
  • Review and verify that Customer’s POs match house plans.
  • Properly identify extra work and request variance purchase order before work begins.
  • Establish correct estimates for variance purchase orders in the field.
  • Schedule subcontractors, material and equipment deliveries.
  • Adhere to safety standards and ensure that trade and subcontractor site safety follows all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Identify problems early and act immediately to provide solutions.
  • Oversee work to ensure installation follows and conforms to approved design documents.
  • Maintain quality control for work performed by employees and subcontractors.

Ideal Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ professional experience within construction and masonry industry
  • Proficient with Outlook & Excel a plus
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and the project schedule.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills. Bi-Lingual, English & Spanish, is ideal but not required
  • Experience with OSHA safe work practices.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving history.
  • Strong work ethic and well organized.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Position is full time, salaried and pay will be based on experience level.
