  • Project Superintendent - Working Superintendent
  • Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly review project plans, specifications and bids with estimating, VPO, and Project Manager
  • Must have extensive hands on experience in interior commercial construction renovations, including selective demolition, metal framing and drywall, and acoustic ceilings.
  • Develop construction schedule in conjunction with Project Manager within time frame required
  • Thoroughly review subcontract terms along with work scopes
  • Meet with building owners and tenants to discuss build-out specifications and improvements
  • Maintain a daily job site log through Procore
  • Update the schedule in conjunction with Project Manager
  • Assist with short-range scheduling by confirming manpower, material deliveries, or supplier availability
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
  • Quality Control and Safety Adherence
  • Schedule and attend job meetings
  • Create and participate in Project closeout procedures
  • Ability to travel to projects as needed

Qualifications** We are looking for immediate hire, so only local applicants are encouraged to apply for this position **

  • Must have 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent strictly in the Commercial Construction Industry. No residential experience.
  • Must have experience leading self-performing crews**
  • Must be willing to work with own tools as required
  • Outstanding customer service skills and integrity
  • Experience with the development and maintenance of project schedules.
  • Strong Leadership and planning skills
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Must have the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations
  • Knowledge of commercial construction methods and processes.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing all aspects of the commercial building process
