Location: Boston, MA (On-site; Travel to Local Residential Project Sites Required)

Salary: $85,000 to $130,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Thoughtforms is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to oversee on-site residential construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and building codes. You will also maintain project documentation, develop construction schedules, and ensure that work meets Thoughtforms' high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed within the project timeline, budget, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project partners, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues or delays promptly.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including permits, RFIs, and progress reports.
  • Develop, manage, and update construction schedules and sequencing of tasks.
  • Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and safe for all workers.

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction supervision or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of residential building trades (carpentry experience is preferred).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using construction management software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA, LEED, PHIUS, or similar certifications are a plus.
