Job description

This position is responsible for the production of loan documentation and for providing support to lenders in the Sioux City Loan Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and understand commercial, agricultural and consumer loan documents required for new notes, renewals, and extensions, with accuracy
  • Request credit bureau and flood determinations
  • Monitor loan files for completeness
  • Review and reconcile daily reports, identifying and resolving any data discrepancies
  • Monitor loan exception reports - updating tracking systems and resolving documentation deficiencies
  • Prepare HMDA reporting
  • Assist customers with loan transactions, loan status and interest rate inquiries

Qualifications
Education
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge and Experience
  • 3+ years of loan processing experience, specifically loan document preparation, preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial and/or residential mortgage processing functions

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to identify missing items and perform tasks accurately
