No hand-offs mid-stream, no waiting on another department to move your file forward. You drive the loan, you clear the conditions, and in partnership with the loan originator, you get members to the closing table.We process loans for credit union members across multiple credit union partners, which means variety, complexity, and the satisfaction of helping real people get into their homes. If you're the kind of processor who thrives on ownership, can juggle a full pipeline without dropping the ball, and remains calm when closing dates get tight - we want to talk to you.What You'll DoOwn your pipeline end-to-end: process each loan from submission through clear to closeEnsure every file meets lender, investor, and regulatory policies and guidelinesMaintain working knowledge of investor requirements, programs, and overlaysCoordinate and communicate with everyone involved in the transaction - including loan originators, members, title companies, and investorsPartner with loan originators to meet or exceed closing datesReview submissions for accuracy and completeness and submit files to investorsOrder required property and loan documentation: appraisals, inspections, title, flood, PMI, FHA/VA case numbers, subordination agreements, and moreProactively review and clear underwriting and prior-to-funding conditionsReview title commitments and clear outstanding itemsComplete re-disclosures and changes of circumstanceWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of mortgage loan processing experienceKnowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan typesAbility to read, interpret, and apply conventional, government, state, and investor loan policies and guidelinesStrong multitasking skills and a proven ability to organize time and manage multiple prioritiesComposure and focus under tight timelinesProfessional verbal and written communication skillsExperience working both independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of TILA-RESPA as it relates to loan estimates and closing disclosuresSpanish-speaking skills are a plusBenefits: 401(k) matching, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, Employee Assistance ProgramMust pass a criminal background check and screening against the government excluded parties list
