Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in PMO operations, project operations, capital portfolio management, or engineering operations.
  • Ability to operate as a player-coach, balancing direct execution with coaching and support of others.
  • Strong project governance, reporting, compliance, and process management capability.
  • Experience onboarding, training, or enabling teams on systems and ways of working.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder coordination skills across functions and business units.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working across reporting tools, systems, templates, and process documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and escalation management.
  • High ownership, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead PMO systems, procedures, and policy execution to support consistent capital project delivery.
  • Manage onboarding and systems/process training for new Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Own system issue resolution, ticket management, and user support.
  • Maintain user SOPs and reinforce adherence to policies and engineering processes.
  • Provide direct coaching, support, and workload coordination for Project Coordinators.
  • Guide PC onboarding, role development, escalation handling, and day-to-day execution support.
  • Support performance management and help elevate consistency and effectiveness across the PC team.
  • Conduct project file audits and operational health checks to improve quality and compliance.
  • Provide portfolio support through KPI reporting, milestone tracking, demand reporting, and 90-day TPR/CAR tracking.
  • Facilitate monthly BU Capex Review meetings and support site calls led by Engineering leadership.
  • Assist with CWIP compliance, capitalization tracking, and project closeout activities.
  • Support CAPEX planning activities, including 1YP and 3YP processes.
  • Own PITR and TPR process coordination, including template review, pre-read preparation, meeting minutes, and action tracking.
  • Facilitate and document KPFF and greater-than-$5M TPR meetings.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, capital projects, or operations environments.
  • Experience supporting Project Coordinators, analysts, or similar operational roles.
  • Familiarity with capitalization processes, CWIP compliance, and project closeout requirements.
  • Experience with PITR, TPR, SharePoint, and portfolio reporting rhythms.
