Job description

Company Overview

Position Summary
The Loadout position requires an understanding of all equipment, job duties, and personnel involved in ensuring proper loading of product from the mine silos to trucks. The position is primarily responsible for facilitating the loadout process of customer and third-party trucks. This position will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations and practice safe operations at all times.
Essential Functions
  • Completes pre-shift inspections and JSA's, and interfaces with relief operator for any updates, instructions and changes.
  • Opens hatches and inspects in-bound trucks in preparation for loadout.
  • Interfaces with drivers inspecting in-bound containers for contaminants, and troubleshooting purchase order issues including elevating to supervisor when appropriate.
  • Connects fill-tubes to hatches and, following purchase order parameters, correctly loads trucks and directs to out-bound gates.
  • Assists out-bound drivers with relevant issues and ensure efficient flow of traffic out of loadout area.
  • Communicates with Foreman, and fellow Load-Out Operators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Assists with general plant housekeeping including the clearing of waste sand accumulation.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Sufficient education to operate relevant computer software and complete written documentation and records; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics.
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical equations and use basic hand tools, measuring tools, labor tools.
  • Must have Basic maintenance skills sufficient to inspect equipment and complete minor repairs as required.
  • Previous sand plant or oilfield experience is preferred.
  • Must have effective communication skills; ability to speak and write.
  • Must have team player attitude with high-level of self-motivation requiring minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as nature of plant schedule may fluctuate.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Please note: Corporate Housing facility is not available at this location.

Work Environment
  • High stress environment operating with trucker drivers
  • Exposed to the elements, heat and cold
  • Will operate at heights up to 18ft off the ground
  • Physically demanding, constantly moving
