Position: Glass Unloader/Loader

Location: 10757 N. Dual St. Baton Rouge, LA 70814

Schedule: Monday through Friday - Full-Time, 40/hours

Pay: Starting at $13.00/hour (Depending on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change

Summary

Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a loader. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and selfdriven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include handling, packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Utilize the appropriate handling equipment to move panes and/or pallets
  • Organizing window panes onto transportation or storage racks.
  • Loading completed product onto glass trucks for delivery.

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
  • Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8
  • Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to complete simple computer task.
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Background Check/Drug Screen

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the US
