Position at JBS USA
Job Title: Grease Recovery Operator- 2nd shift 1pm-9:30pm
Location: Green Bay
Reporting to: Environmental Supervisor
 
Essential Job Functions:
  • Operate and monitor two pre-treatment DAF systems to collect #2 grease from plant wastewater
  • Monitor and operate melt tank and centrifuge equipment
  • Safely fill and load semi-tankers with #2 grease, including climbing on top of tankers when required
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Assist with wastewater processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
  • Prior experience in industrial, mechanical, or wastewater operations preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in hot environments and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing, lifting, etc.)
  • Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn and complete wastewater certifications
Skills/Abilities Required:
  • Strong work ethic and dependability
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
  • Willingness to learn wastewater operations and grow within the role
  • Flexibility to work 3rd shift schedule and overtime as needed
