Compensation: - $24.31 -$34.05 per hour, depending on experience. Eligible for overtime and quarterly performance bonuses.
What you'll do:- Perform daily pre-shift inspection of plant/equipment and complete required inspection reports; keep equipment in "ready-to-work" condition.
- Continuously and safely feed material into the crushing plant to prevent stoppages; coordinate with the Plant Operator.
- Maintain a sufficient inventory of clean, prepped rubble; prepare rubble efficiently and consistently to stay ahead of production needs.
- Load customers and internal trucks timely, accurately, and safely with finished materials.
- Manage inbound materials and stockpiles to support smooth plant operations; coordinate inbound material flow in the yard.
- Maintain safe and orderly yard conditions (grade control; minimize humps/holes) to reduce equipment damage and injury risk.
- Communicate material quality issues and operational concerns to the Plant Operator and Foreman.
- Identify maintenance issues; promptly notify the Foreman and assist with repairs as needed to maximize uptime.
- Support customer flow for dumping and material pickup to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
- Follow company policies/procedures and all safety requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Work is performed primarily outdoors in an crushing-plant environment, exposure to varying temperatures and weather.
- High-noise environment; use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and hearing protection is mandatory.
- Regular operation around moving equipment, heavy machinery, truck traffic, stockpiles, and uneven surfaces.
- Physical demands include frequent standing/walking/climbing/stooping and routinely lifting up to 50 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 75 lbs.
- May require travel between plant locations based on business needs, market trends, and stockpile volumes.
