Position Summary

The Systems Business Analyst III is a senior-level professional responsible for leading complex initiatives that support business process analysis and technology solutions within a regulated utility environment. This role focuses heavily on training systems alignment, workforce development platforms, and HVAC-related technical programs.

The analyst partners with senior leadership to ensure training systems, operational tools, and technical learning solutions align with enterprise objectives and evolving workforce needs within the HVAC and energy sectors.


Key Responsibilities

Training Systems & Business Process Leadership

  • Lead and oversee complex training systems analysis initiatives supporting utility workforce development
  • Align learning systems and technical training programs with operational strategies
  • Support modernization of training platforms, content delivery systems, and technical curriculum frameworks

Stakeholder & Executive Collaboration

  • Partner with senior management and executive leadership to align systems with organizational training objectives
  • Support enterprise initiatives focused on HVAC training, field readiness, and technical competency development
  • Serve as a liaison between operations, training teams, and IT departments

Advanced Systems Analysis

  • Conduct business process reengineering to improve training workflows and system efficiency
  • Perform advanced system analysis, including data modeling and reporting improvements
  • Evaluate system effectiveness and recommend enhancements aligned with regulatory and operational needs

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Monitor emerging trends in training systems, HVAC technology, and workforce development tools
  • Recommend improvements to optimize system performance and learner outcomes
  • Promote adoption of best practices in utility training and systems governance

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business systems analysis or training systems support
  • Experience in a training-focused role preferred
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including:
    • Air distribution
    • Refrigeration
    • Electrical theory
    • Total system applications
  • Proven leadership and project management experience
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a regulated utility environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technical workforce development programs in utilities
  • Familiarity with enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience working in regulated industries
