Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Crisis Therapist in Emporia, Kansas.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Outpatient and community-based behavioral health role focused on emergency mental health and crisis intervention services
Conduct crisis evaluations, intake assessments, and care coordination for clients across all age groups
Collaborate with hospitals, community agencies, and interdisciplinary crisis teams to support continuity of care
Opportunity to provide meaningful mental health support while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making
Emporia location offering a stable community environment with strong behavioral health support systems
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $75,609 - $85,213 depending on experience and licensure
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday schedule
Full-time 40-hour work week
Work across two nearby office locations
ROLE
Provide crisis intervention and emergency behavioral health assessments
Conduct intake evaluations and determine appropriate treatment recommendations
Coordinate care with hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and community organizations
Maintain timely EMR documentation and clinical records
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case collaboration
Support clients experiencing acute behavioral health crises across multiple care settings

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology REQUIRED
Active Kansas licensure as LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LP, LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LSCSW REQUIRED
Crisis intervention and behavioral health assessment experience preferred
Strong documentation and communication skills REQUIRED
Comfortable working with clients across all age groups REQUIRED
Team-based and community-focused clinical mindset REQUIRED
