Lively Mental Health and Behavioral Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join our remote team. This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining work-life balance. Our community health clinic is dedicated to fostering a collaborative work atmosphere, even in a remote setting. We emphasize open communication and team support, ensuring that all team members have access to the resources they need to thrive in their roles. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their unique backgrounds, psychological needs, and recovery goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with evidence-based practices to facilitate effective recovery.
• Deliver individual counseling sessions using established therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, tailored to the client's specific circumstances.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions to foster community and peer support among individuals in recovery.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on various aspects of addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in substance use disorder treatment to ensure the highest quality of care.

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, addressing a spectrum of challenges faced during the recovery process. This includes working with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and recovery needs. Your expertise will enable you to guide patients through their journey, offering tailored support that promotes sustained recovery and emotional resilience.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Ability to maintain strict professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical practice.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in a community health or rehabilitation setting focused on substance use disorders.
• Expertise in creating and implementing innovative treatment programs for diverse populations.
• Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities relevant to substance use disorder treatment.

This licensed therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
